I'd been working on a little sex pollen plot bunny for these two, and her prompts made me expand the premise...by 8k lol.This story, in addition to a being a fun, sexy romp through tropeville, also contains a lot of references to the Aeneid. I was looking for a good piece of classical literature for the two of them to discuss, and I thought using one I was so familiar with as a basis would be helpful. Instead I fell down the rabbit hole of being a total nerd and reading academic articles and doing my own translations. It was actually really, really fun, and I loved it.
The first quote is from the very beginning and references Juno's wrath against Aeneas, the main quote is from book IV, and Megatron's references to it are about Venus using her power to make Dido fall in lust with Aeneas, leading to the demise of her kingdom and her eventual death. Another section is from Venus's seduction of her husband, Vulcan. For anyone looking for more details on the references, I do have line by line notes lying around somewhere, just ask.
